Received his MSc in applied statistics and computer science from the university of Antananarivo in 2001 and his PhD. degree in Computer Science from the INSA de Lyon in 2007. He is currently an INRIA full researcher. His research interests are mainly focused on distributed algorithms and protocols design for wireless networks and performance evaluation. He is involved in many organization and program committees of national and international conferences such as DCOSS, MASS, PE-WASUN, MSWIM, PIMRC, ICC.

For modeling Software Architectures there exist many, nearly disjoint approaches in the literature: OO and UML, dataflow architectures in the embedded community, different architecture styles, architectures in data base systems / information management systems, and architectures in the modularity community.

 

The talk gives arguments and ideas for an integrative approach which tries to incorporate all above and different approaches.

Luiz Eduardo S. Oliveira received his MSc degree in electrical engineering and industrial informatics from Federal University of Technology - Parana, (UTFPR), Curitiba, Brazil,  in 1998 and PhD degree in computer science from the Universit du Quebec  (Montreal, Canada) in 2003. From 2004 to 2009 he was professor of computer science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana (PUC-PR). Currently he is with the Department of Informatics of Federal University of Parana (UFPR) where he is head of the Graduate Program in Computer Science. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning, and image processing.
